Here’s my take on Gran’s Sausage Rolls. I remember my gran making the best sausage rolls in the world. But since going plant-based 4+ years ago, sausage rolls are no longer on the menu…until now! 

This is a quick and easy recipe

 of an old classic using @welovebuds plant-based mince. It tastes just like (if not better) than the real thing! Get your hands on BUDS mince at selected IGA’s!

INGREDIENTS

  • BUDS mince which packs 21g of protein per serve!
  • 1 x large brown onion
  • 1 x large carrot
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose seasoning
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • Pinch of salt & a crack of pepper
  • Vegan/Gluten Free Puff Pastry (0r pastry of your choice)
  • Dash of olive oil for coating pastry
  • Sprinkle of sesame seeds on top
  • Serve with tomato sauce
